Social Responsibility

Understanding the importance of corporate social responsibility, for years TBS has been active in the community

Annually, TBS Group organizes and participates in sporting and entertainment events, health checks, and training activities to create educational and personal development opportunities for our employees. In addition, we facilitate open discussions between management and employees with a view to fostering solidarity and collegiality.

Understanding the importance of corporate social responsibility, for many years, TBS has enthusiastically participated in various social activities including building schools in many locales, providing housing for disadvantaged workers, and awarding scholarships to poor students.

Education Support Programs

Built Nguyen Binh Khiem Elementary School in Dong Hoa Ward, Di An.
Built a high school in Phu Hoa Ward, Thuan An, Binh Duong.
Built 7 classrooms for the kindergarten and elementary schools in An Binh Ward, Di An, Binh Duong.
Annual donation of materials to Industrial College 2 (District 9) to support student research projects.
Organized seminar on career orientation for university and college students, attracting hundreds of students interested in the footwear industry.
Awarded over 1,000 scholarships to honor students of TBS staff.

Community Sport and Cultural Activities

Sponsored the “TBS Group Champions Cup 2013”, a football tournament for universities, colleges, and vocational high schools in Binh Duong at a cost of VND 200 million.
Sponsored a golf tournament to raise money towards heart operations for children in 2010.
Sponsor the Corps 4 annual volleyball tournament.

Building Infrastructure for the Local Community

Built 65 homes for charity, supported 2 Vietnamese “Heroic Mothers” in Binh Duong.
Built water drainage system and 600-meter cemented road in An Binh Ward, Di An Province, Binh Duong.
Built 200 employee dormitories in Binh Dang, Binh Hoa.
Built the An Binh Apartments to create housing for staff working at TBS in Binh Duong Province.
Provide home loans for TBS staff with 20 years of service.

Other Social and Charitable Activities

Organize annual cultural evenings and firework displays during Tet New Year celebrations for the local communit.
Support flood-affected areas and other initiatives by local government.
Built 200 employee dormitories at Binh Dang, Binh Hoa.
Established VND 20 billion Bong Lua Vang (Golden Wheat) Fund to support victims of Agent Orange and people with heart disease, having subsidized 20 heart operations to date.
Presented gifts to children at Mai Am Que Huong Orphanage during Mid-Autumn Festival.
